Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

CASETiQUE ("we", "us") is the controller of your personal data. Contact: 303 Broadway St, Laguna Beach, CA 92651, United States · help@casetique.com.

2. What we collect

• Order & account data: name, email, phone, shipping and billing address, order history.
• Payment data: processed by Shopify Payments, PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay or Google Pay. We never see or store full card numbers.
• Studio uploads: photos, artwork and text you add to a custom design.
• Support messages: what you send us by chat or email.
• Device & usage data: IP address, browser, pages viewed, approximate location (used to set your region and currency), collected via cookies and similar technologies.

3. Why we use it (and our legal basis)

• To make, ship and support your order, including returns and warranty claims — performance of a contract.
• To prevent fraud and keep the store secure — legitimate interests.
• To meet tax, accounting and consumer-law obligations — legal obligation.
• To send marketing emails or SMS — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link.
• For analytics and advertising cookies — your consent where required by law (UK/EU).

4. Who we share it with

Only with service providers who help us run the store, under contracts that protect your data: Shopify (store platform, checkout, analytics), payment providers, our print and fulfilment partners (to produce and ship your case), shipping carriers, our customer support chat provider, our cloud hosting provider, and — if you consent — advertising partners such as Google. We may disclose data where required by law. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioural advertising without your consent.

5. Studio uploads

Images you upload are stored privately and used only to print your order. Please only upload images you have the right to use. We delete Studio files that are not part of an order, and keep order artwork only as long as needed for production, reprints and warranty claims.

6. International transfers

We and our providers operate in the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom and Canada. Where data leaves the UK/EEA, we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum).

7. How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires (typically 6–10 years). Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. Support messages are kept for up to 3 years.

8. Your rights

• UK & EU (GDPR): access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent. You may complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).
• California (CCPA/CPRA) & other US states: to know, access, correct and delete your data, and to opt out of sale/sharing and targeted advertising. We honour Global Privacy Control signals. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights.
• Canada (PIPEDA): access and correction of your personal information, and withdrawal of consent.

To use any right, email help@casetique.com. We reply within 30 days (45 days where US law allows) and may need to verify your identity.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies (cart, checkout, region), analytics cookies (to understand how the store is used) and advertising cookies (to measure ads). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

10. Children

Our store is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
